Better than Sour Cream

🇺🇸 My first time trying anything by Tofutti amazingly as they’ve been going since 1981. I’ve never seen it in the UK 🇬🇧unfortunately. I’m soooo impressed with this #sourcream and annoyed at myself I didn’t try it earlier. I could have had it on my tacos 🌮🌯and baked 🥔potato, argh!! 🤦‍♀️ I will know better next time. We got this to mix with onion 🧅soup mix to make an onion dip for dipping chips/crisps🥔 into as I was jealous of my parents doing that. You are so spoiled in the US! There were so many #vegansourcream I struggled to decide which one to buy after initially not being able to find them. The same with cream cheese. 🥯First I was using Yuka 🥕to choose the healthiest but then that sometimes isn’t the best tasting. Then I was googling which was the best one to get. It’s cheaper too and #nongmo #glutenfree #parve and #halal 🕌woo hoo! Just learned 💡what parve is. ✡️ Shame it’s not healthier and my parents’ dairy sour cream beat this on Yuka. Grrrr. 😕 The texture is thicker and dryer than dairy sour cream. Really good sour cream alternative in a pinch! Pricey in my opinion but most substitutes are anyways

Tofutti is one of the original brands for dairy alternatives in my area. I do like the sour cream but they could use and upgrade on the texture, just a little stiff.

This is not #sourcream at all. The texture is 100% a #creamcheese style. Not sure if they just got the labelling wrong or what happened. It was still really tasty, but not what I was looking to buy for #taconight. #vegan #veganuary #govegan
