Basil Pesto

Okay. I love pesto for the pop of colour, creaminess and flavour it gives. The Coles version is the cheapest on the shelf and good value I think! #basil #pesto

This is a bit full on on its own on pasta (I add lots of pine nuts and cashews to mellow it a little) but it is good on it's own on pizza and in sangas 🌿🍕🌿

I LOVE pesto pasta and usually make it weekly. Normally I make it myself, but when the basil itself is $3/bunch, plus the nuts, olive oil, nooch, garlic etc… this store bought version for $3 a jar works out way better value! Great flavour, really enjoyed. Makes such a quick, easy dinner when combined with pasta, chickpeas, veggies, olives and nooch or cashew Parmesan on top 👌🏼 Will definitely buy again.
