Zhai Ngor Chicken Rice

Almost everything looks the same here 🙈 This is their least bang-for-buck meal in my IMO because the “protein” is rather lacking & really, it tastes just like #chickenrice anyways. The #vegangoose is pretty much just #beancurd as always. I’m just accustomed to larger portions in Penang 🏝️ Never thought I’d say that!

I still don’t know what Zhai Ngor is but if the noodle dish is any indicator, it’s a crispy tofu skin-looking thing 🤔 Also, it was actually @dafnelately that ordered this and kindly shared me a few bites to #abillionhacks 🤓 Thank you to the reliably fluffy #rice of unknown origins. We thank you for your service always 🫡 To you, cucumber slices, we appreciate for your attempts to give this plate some freshness. They used a thin and deep fried #crispy #tofu sheet that was actually sweet. It also had a segment of the dao bao #mockchicken they have for the other main too - which is also wrapped in tofu skin to create a chicken skin effect. Last was an unidentifiable radish cake-looking thing.
