Yam cake

One of the earliest vego establishments in the kovan / #hougang area is this humble little cafe in heartland mall. ☺️ They do a good variety of vegan local dishes with snacks and dimsums as well. #veganhougang #veganinsingapore

No yam taste at all. Maybe minimal yam used, consist more flour. Factory-made I am guessing, they had a steamer cabinet on display with siew mai and all. The yam cakes were swimming in sweet sauce, horribly sweet.

Vegetarian express food is yummy They have nice vegan dim sum and it’s cheap $1.30 for the yam cake Nice to eat while it’s hot

Super yummy! Drizzled with sesame oil and seeds. There are huge chunks of yam too. Price is right too :)
