Vegan Katsu

Crispy on inside and soft on outside with the soybean wrapper . Definitely would order again . The ginger carrot sauce that comes with is delicious .

This sushi was my favourite of them all! Wrapped in a soya bean sheet was edamame, onion katsu, oshinko (pickled radish), avocado, and it came with the yummiest ginger carrot sauce on the side. The edamame was a great touch, and I always love oshinko in my sushi, as it adds such a nice punchy flavour and crunchy texture.

This roll was delicious! It had sesame seeds, onion katsu, pickled radish, avocado, edamame, and vegan mayo. I thought the onion katsu and edamame were very clever and creative additions. In particular, the edamame gave a nice crunch to add a different texture to the mix. Really loving Shinka’s vegan menu and will continue to order. #ottawa
