Since our table shared multiple appetizers I chose a lighter meal option so I could enjoy everything! I picked the Vegan Caesar salad which had greens, crispy chickpeas, pine nut parm, and a sea bean Caesar dressing. I also chose to add on tofu for a quality source of protein. The salad was savory and full of great crunchy texture. The tofu was pretty mild but I liked the color from turmeric and the generous amount they served me. I enjoyed my meal, the only thing I found a little off was the use of baby greens which got kinda slimy from all the salad dressing. Overall, Basic Kitchen is a great local place and I love how their options are creative and cater to various eaters!
