My friend and I were seeing Broken Social Scene near Planta so I took the opportunity to finally go. It was early enough that we could order from the happy hour menu so I got a couple of things from there and these nigiri. I decided to order a few different things to try instead of finding one bigger meal that interested me. (That would've been too hard!!)
I love eggplant and rice and sushi and sauce, so this was already going to be a win for me. The flavour was amazing and somehow the bites were creamy and rich. I could've eaten more of these, but they were decadent enough to satisfy with just the two.
I forgot to mention in my other reviews that this place was super #allergyfriendly and had all the items with soy highlighted separately for those with soy allergies, like my friend. Vegan places are usually more aware of allergies, but we'd never been to one that had a highlighted menu ready to go. That made my friend's ordering a lot easier, but it also meant we couldn't share the bang bang broccoli like I had dreamed 😅 I was still very happy with my order (minus the lettuce one...)
