Terre à Tapas

This #tapas was £19 PER PERSON! Buuut, it was absolutely delicious, presented a beautiful array of colours, textures and flavours, and was great to share as a treat with my dad. The waiter explained what each dish was, and there was a ‘hot plate’ (first photo) and ‘cold plate’ (second photo) - I think I preferred the cold one, but they were both amazing. My favourite parts were the aubergine zhuganoush dip; the soft, salty focaccia; the Korean fried cauliflower and the lavash crackers that melted in the mouth. I got the veganised version, and the ‘better batter’ halloumi dish was replaced with what I think is the ‘aubergine dengaku’ dish (first photo on the right) - it had a very interesting texture, sort of like mushroom, and the marinade topping was wow. The whole meal felt like a lot of food, but I wasn’t overly full afterwards which was nice.
