
At first glance this looks like a tiny portion, but it was so dense and filling I could barely finish half of it. The gnocchi were absolute perfection, and I love how they charred them on the outside but they stayed soft & fluffy on the inside. However I didn’t care for the sweet potato “sauce” since it wasn’t even really a sauce but more like just a blob of mashed sweet potato. Since gnocchi is already made with potato, it was a lot of potato in this dish. The greens on top were a bit chewy too, and the beet purée on the side didn’t really add much flavor. I’d love to try another seasonal gnocchi dish that has more of a sauce next time (like their brown butter sage one from this past winter looked bomb!). #gnocchi #pasta #potato #sweetpotato
This has got to be one of the best meals I’ve ever had. I’ve tried to make gnocchi on my own before and it never seems to work out.. Let’s just say watercourse has the special touch🤫🙌🏼
