These plantains were perfect!! They were sweet and they were the perfect size. They were fried and crisped up perfectly, unlike some places where they turn out too squishy (or occasionally too hard).
We were trying to find a good vegan meal and we went to 3 different vegan restaurants in Orlando, all claimed to be open on google maps but were closed when we arrived 😤
So we drove all the way out to this Puerto Rican owned vegan place near Union Park. It was a long drive and journey to find a place open, so thankfully the food did not disappoint!
The Churrasco Sandwich with vegan beef and chimichurri sauce was fantastic and definitely our favorite thing. The plantains were perfect and the tostones were yummy. The Vegetable Mofongo was also good but not our fav. Next time we would love to try the soups and Pernil Sandwich. Don't forget to try their awesome Boylan Co cane sugar sodas!
