Side Fried Chickun

Fern Café & Bakery is located in Fernwood, Victoria and entirely #vegan with a mouth-watering menu of both savory & sweet. This place has been owned and operated for 7 years by a married couple. They make their own vegan chickun in house, and it contains soy & gluten. I ordered this side of chickun with a large portion of poutine that I shared with my partner. The chickun is portioned at 5oz, and sizes and amount of chickun pieces vary. This side comes with the choice of dipping sauce: Buffalo, BBQ, Garlic Aioli, and faux "Honey" mustard. It doesn’t look like much but it’s the best chicken alternative I’ve tried. It’s hard not to order a side everytime we get something from the fern. #veganisnotscary

Just a few (came with 3) pieces of their fried chickun. Very crispy, perfect side. Definitely needs a dipping sauce, but I would get this on the side every time.
