🌱 For something as simple as satay skewers with a peanut sauce, they were absolutely delicious. Great flavour and texture. Cost $10

I did not order this, but I’m glad someone else did 😋 Unless a #satay is made from #monkeyheadmushroom it almost always disappoints in my experience. Not this though! You won’t even be able to tell that it’s made from #beancurd 🤩 The texture is really nothing like it, super meaty and chewy or “QQ” as my housemate would say 😅 The #sataysauce was embarrassing as usual, but you’ll find the same at any omni Chinese restaurant too 🥱 It ain’t that hard, y’all! Really other than that, perfect 🙌

I’ve had better satay but the peanut sauce was very good and I’m not ashamed to say I ate a spoonful 👀

The mock meat was quite tender and I love the sweet peanut sauce, wish it came with ketupat 😋
