Sambal French beans

This is for my vegetarian niece who did me a favor today. She likes French beans, but the last time I was going to get for her, the eatery had run out. This time - success!

Imagine how impoverished my life would be if I had never come to SG where we have the good fortune to enjoy vegan sambal.

Nice they tried to replicate sambal but it hardly resembled mock prawn; would be happy just with the beans themselves. Nice chewy beans as the greens for the meal.

Was expecting a little more spice but still good and well cooked. Always good to have a plate of veggies to go with the other mock stuff we got

Not too oily as with #zicar vegetable dishes go, this hits the sweet spot.
