The waitress didn’t quite recommend this dish as she personally doesn’t like the “chew” of seitan in general. But I thoroughly enjoyed this. The cutlet was thin and well seasoned, the mushrooms in marsala were just drool-worthy, and the polenta’s texture was perfect. The polenta wasn’t well salted, but in a bite together with the savory cutlet and mushrooms- it provided the perfect balance. I asked for a salt shaker but never ended up using it. The broccolini was perfectly cooked and seasoned, and those little slices of garlic - they tasted confit! So rich, I’d take a jar of just those!
Comes with creamy polenta, sautéed broccolini, oyster mushrooms, red wine au jus, chives. Well made and tastes like real meat, what made me nauseous after a while.
I love this all vegan restaurant. My husband got this dish, and I kept snitching off his plate even though I had my own dish. Everything is flavorful, delicious, and the chef has a gift for combining flavors, textures, and tastes. Beautiful.
