Paris-Brest

Out of this world "pâtisserie", in Paris. Everything is possible in a vegan version here!

I said it once and I’ll say it again, this Paris-Brest from VG Pâtisserie is quite a delight. I mean, the cream is incredible. And the little crunch brought by a few roasted hazelnut on the top? Yes please! Could use a little less sugar in my opinion, but still super good. It costs between 5,50€ and 6,50€.

Had this Paris Brest some evening last week and it literally brightened my day. The cream’s nutty taste is to die for, and the bake’s texture is just wonderful : you’ve got some creamy, some soft and airy with the dough, and some crunchy with the hazelnut pieces on the top 🌰 Maybe it could use a tiny little less sugar but overall this Paris Brest is delish! Can’t wait to have it again! It costs 5.50€, which makes total sense when you see how well prepared it is and how good it tastes! Plus they take 10% off your bill if you bring your own takeaway container, which I find such a great initiative ☺️🥡
