Onion Utthappam

This is a thick rice batter pancake with chopped onion topping. The onion added a really good flavor. Although I would prefer if it was caramelized. It was served with different savoury chutneys.

This was hands-down my favorite. The base is so fluffy and soft while the onions give just the right flavor and complementary texture. Super loved dipping in the sambar.
