tried the lady fingers today! liked that they were not mushy but were quite firm;
they were cooked w onions :) happy w the spinach too that was lightly stir-fried but not really oily or starchy!

of the tau kwa w tempeh & beans dish is q low; i wld say the flavour of the sauce is more chilli-like rather than curry-like; the flavour soaked thru the tau kwa and tempeh so that's great ; only thing is it was mostly tau kwa, i think it wldve been nice if there was a more equal balance bet tempeh and tau kwa haha

yay:'). just a note that the sambal sauce is more on the spicy than sweet side!
lil disappointed w the bittergourd this time as it cldve been cooked for longer - it was still kinda hard :p
lastly i got the tempeh patty for my protein fix :)

& the sauce also has a hint of sweetness!! portions of bittergourd and lady fingers were fairly generous:))

consistent standard, unfortunately tempeh was on the dry and hard side :/
#nuseats
but apart from the crust the inside turned out okay pheww
bean sprouts and bittergourd were flavourful :)

economical lunches like these make me happy :')

the yellow curry veggie - the coconut flavour was v fragrant and quite strong!! also it wasnt spicy imo hehe
nice layer of crisp and it wasnt deep fried so it was soft and the strong bean-y flavour was there :)
4 dishes w less rice for $3.10 - yay to economical veg options in sch :D
