Mixed Mushroom Bento Set

Usually I’m a huge fan of green dot and I’ve dined at the Bugis location several times. I tried out the Bedok location for the first time and I must say I was quite underwhelmed. The broccoli wasn’t fully cooked, and a bit on the salty side and could use a bit more flavour. The mushroom which was supposed to be the best part of bento was kind of disappointing and the only reason I enjoyed it is because it was mushroom and I love everything that has mushroom. If it was any other veggie in the same sauce I would probably find it hard to finish. Same goes for the cabbage, I really thought it would have more flavour but it was just bland cabbage. The soup as always is just clear soup which tasted fine. Now why I’m saying all this is because I’ve dined at the Bugis Greendot several times before and every single item on the plate was always packed with flavour. This did not meet the expectations at all. Although the mixed mushroom bento set was labeled vegan (I ordered off grab), I’m not entirely sure if the dressing of the salad is vegan because this is a restaurant that serves lacto and ovo dishes as well.
