Lentil Mushroom Burger W Tahini Sauce

#veganisnotscary First time trying this.. burger was not easy to eat without making a little mess. Taste good. Prefer the mushroom burger though. Fries was quite oily. Can add on osmanthus drink :D

Love lentil burgers! And this one didn’t disappoint.

This Lentil Mushroom burger has an amazing taste. At $11.90 this is good value compared to many other more pricey vegan burgers. The sesame seed buns were soft. The patty has a nice bite & texture. Perhaps the combination of lentil and mushroom in the patty reduces the usual graininess in lentil based patties. Feels healthy knowing that it is real food. Lentil is a great source of protein too. I like that this burger comes with my favourite vegetable - arugula (arrow head) & purple cabbage. Fries are piping hot as they should be good enough to eat on its own. I didn't like the texture of the patty. It is quite expensive too.

Lentil patty comes with purple cabbage, cucumber, tomatoes and lettuce. The patty is well marinated and the tahini sauce adds a nice touch to the patty. However, the lentil patty makes the burger taste pretty dry, perhaps adding something chewy in the bun will provide a different texture overall.
