First things first, this would've been a #burger, but they'd run out of burger buns (serves me right for coming in 40 minutes prior to closing 😬) so they thoughtfully offered up some other bread as a substitute. The #mushroom patty has both the aroma and chewy texture of shiitake, so make sure that you like that 🙂
This is one of three options in their #fusion range, where the emphasis is on local herbs/flavours. In this case there was barely a resemblance to #khaosoi I'm afraid 😔 In fact I'm not sure what they were trying to achieve with this. They promise a range of things from #lemongrass and #turmeric to #garlic and #coconutmilk, but all I discerned was mushroom from the patty and a vague degree of spiciness 🤨
I'm not sure if the portion size would have been more generous with the burger bun, but this one would have left me #stillhungry were it not for those chunky chips 😅 The #mayonnaise on the other hand was generously portioned, but way too sour and thus largely ignored 😕
