
This was a vegan version of a fish dish and because I never really loved fish, I did not love this. Anything that reminds me of fish is a bit unappealing but honestly it was well made. Slightly spicy, great for Asian lovers and especially if you enjoy the taste of Assam. Ginger was light, could have more I think

Garam Assam is a spice paste often made with tamarind juice, ginger flower and kaffir lime leaves. This dish had grilled tofu strips topped with a piquant compote of diced Pineapple perfumed with ginger flower julienne and laksa leaf. Tofu was fried and soft on the inside. The best part was how layered the taste was with assam, pineapple and ginger! Very nice to see a restaurant offering this many vegan options! #veganuary
