Dry Ban Mee

Disclaimer first: Added with dumplings at an extra cost of $1.60 cuz I was craving for dumplings 🤣 The banmee was nicely flavored, topped with minced “meat”, “fish” cake slices, crispy “anchovies” and veggie. The texture of the banmee was good, but after some time they got dry and stuck to each other, that’s where the soup came in to provide a bit of moisture haha.. the seaweed/kombu(?) soup was refreshing too

The ban mee or what I’d call the Asian version of fettuccine was al dente. Sauce had a nice balance of sweet and savoury. Topped with minced soy meat, bok choy, slices of “fish cake” and fried “anchovies”. Overall a satisfying bowl of noodles. #fettuccine #banmian
