Dim Sum Combo

This was fun. It was the gluten free option. Nice to be able to taste all the different flavours. Textures were interesting too! I think I will try the ‘normal’ ‘gluten’ version next. Wish it came with a dipping sauce tho 🤷‍♂️

The only vegan dim sum platter in Cape Town as far as I know! Variety of textures and flavours. Our favourite was the sticky shao mai. Not pictured is the springroll and 3 types of dipping sauces that came with it. Note that they have moved to Plumstead

Being able to get one of my favourite dishes during lockdown was a treat. The sticky seaweed rice is a favourite as is the har gau and spring rolls. The bao is steamed to perfection and has a generous filling which should suit most tastes. I added a vegan Banana Bread to my order here.

Always amazing! The popstickers are super tasty and their texture is perfect. The bao is not for everyone, but I absolutely love it! Would also recommend trying their Dim Sum platter for more variety.

Overall, I enjoyed the Dim Sum Combo and really enjoyed the filling of the dim sum and of the bao— based on cabbage.
