Classic Soya Beancurd

It’s used to be famous once & my mum gets this pretty frequently cos it’s near her workplace. But I’m really not a fan. Their Beancurd always looks v messy/roughly chopped up (promise I’ll upload an actual photo that is not the empty container once I get the chance to & rmb to), supposed to be super smooth silky Beancurd but doesn’t seem anything special to me. & if fact, lacks substance. Not a great taste either as far as soya Beancurd tastes go? Just seems v traditional.. & anyhow… (but it might just be this Bedok outlet) & their sugar syrups always got this weird orange colour.. They were a little hyped up since years back so you still see queues occasionally at their Bedok Simpang store. But they also sell other typical local breakfast stuff like the grass jelly, fried snacks, muffins etc. So maybe people really go for these. And they do have a wide range of toppings if that’s your thing. I like mine simple plain and so offerings from this brand just doesn’t work for me. I feel like you are better off getting your Beancurd from a random hawker stall lol But this is probably unpopular opinion talking 🤷🏻‍♀️ 😐 As you can tell, I’ve known this for awhile but never felt compelled to take a photo of their food or review it 😬😶
