bun bo hue

My friend and I spent the day in Kensington Market yesterday and got 11 items of food across 9 restaurants! Lol! We had a blast!!! #vegan We of course had to start our journey off at Saigon Lotus. The best vegan #vietnamese spot around!! I wanted to try something new so we got this #spicy #pho! It was described as: assorted vegan meat, #tofu and grilled #mushrooms. We shared the small and it was $15. We had to pace ourselves so we took some to go. I loved the flavours! They were prominent! Lots of lemongrass and a bit of a sweet and spicy combination going on. I loved how big and juicy the mushrooms were. I loved how there were different types of tofu in it. #yum! I #highlyrecommend We also got the wild mushroom steamed Rice rolls, which we moaned in delight after every bite! I already reviewed those lol I always get them everything I go!

My friend ordered this soup. She said it was very spicy. It had different vegan meats, looked like mostly seitan and tofu, as well as grilled mushrooms.
