Black Sesame Swiss Roll

A good price of $3.50 for an entire Swiss roll. It was light, slightly sweet, but not really a winner for me because: 1. Prefer strong pure black sesame taste, but could hardly detect here. If anything, it felt more like a standard vanilla fluffy roll 2. Quite dry, in fact the roll didn’t quite stay together and broke up into parts quite easily. 3. Meagre fillings throughout the roll, & I actually tried my best to choose out of 4, the roll with more fillings at the store.. heard good stuff about this roll but it didn’t meet expectations sadly ): on the brighter side, it led me to the discovery of M Bakery which sells a bunch of other vegan/veg bakes and loaves with Asian, unique, fusion flavours and even healthy ingredients! Totally open to try their other products once I get the chance ^^ #abillionturns3

Black Sesame Swiss Roll ($3.50) It doesn’t taste like typical swiss rolls but it’s still very soft and very fragrant. I really love black sesame so 💗💗

Yay for vegan swiss rolls! This was light and fluffy, though a little crumbly. The sesame taste was definitely there and I liked that it wasn't too sweet. #veganuary

The sesame taste is not very strong but I like the fluffy and light cake based! Pretty affordable for a vegan Swiss roll as well. $3.5

This was light, fluffy and delicious! The black sesame cream had the taste of grounded black sesame but not super strong, just mild. I actually like this more than the pandan one and I do like the pandan one alot! Kudos to M Bakery for these vegan Swiss rolls! One roll of about 7 small slices is $3.50.. absolutely worth it!
