Barbequed Aubergine

This has to be one of the worst dining experiences of my life. The restaurant’s acoustics are horrific and make the space incredibly loud. There was a table of six diners who were screaming so loudly and acting like hooligans, that it ruined every single diner’s experience. The restaurant elected to do nothing because apparently “they are also spending money.” So they sacrificed an entire restaurant of diners for a table of six?!?! I was hoping the food would at least make up for it. This dish cost R160. Yes, R160. It was totally inedible as I think they didn’t wash off the salt when they were preparing the aubergine. They then doused it in soya sauce. My poor tastebuds! I only had a tiny bit but it was so salty that it actually hurt my stomach. The size of the dish was absolutely pathetic. Pathetic. Pathetic. Pathetic. I don’t even think there was a whole aubergine on the plate. I would never recommend this restaurant to anyone.
