The curry is thick and the fried bean curd is tasty. But they serve the rice too much. The portion is quite big.
Very flavourful, you can taste the assam-ness in the curry but towards the end it got abit salty for me. The meat slices were quite crisp on the outside, took some effort to get my chopstick to kiap a piece 😆 Other bits in the bowl were pineapple slices, eggplant, long beans and tomatoes. Comes with brown rice!
Generous serving of fried soy 'fish' slices along with brinjal, long bean, tomato, and pineapple. Leaned more towards being a curry as it was not the sour clear soup style of assam, but it was still really tasty and satisfying! Less spicy option available. Served with a healthy mix of rice and quinoa. ($12.90)
OMG this is so so good!! The assam curry has the perfect mix of sour, not too spicy, tangy,a wee bit of curry taste and it all blends very well together. Thr’s brinjal, long bean, tau pok, carrots and of course tht crispy beancurd skin wth seaweed. The only minus point is the serving bowl for d rice was a bit small so perhaps i shld hv asked for a plate instead. But really, this was sooooo good!
The burst of flavour was so awesome. Can definitely stand against the real deal.
