Apple Crumble with Coconut Ice Cream

Very yummy! I love apple crumble and this one did not disappoint 😋 Wasn't too sweet, so easily finished off the entire dish. Unfortunately they had run out of coconut ice cream that night, but this was the free dessert they gave us to make up for that missing ice cream on the dessert we originally ordered. No complaints there!

I have a weakness for apple crumble. I love how crunchy the crumble is. It marries the apple and the coconut ice cream together so nicely 😍💕

Served with coconut ice cream as the vegan option. It’s well nice. Specify you want the vegan option Of course. Original sin, is original, and sinful, but you can keep the cruelty to a minimum here. Flavours are so damn beautiful. Specify upfront that you would like your whole meal to be vegan and they’ll ensure that every item is veganised. Usually means subbing in vegan cheese or vegan ice cream etc. No compromise on flavour at all.. I hope they will put their vegan items on the front of their menu. It’s a small important step to normalising veganism.

It was a little bit like a semi-deconstructed apple crumble. The little bowl came with apple cubes and the crumble on top. The coconut ice cream didn't taste icy texture-wise though it looked more like a sorbet. But it was quite melted when it came... Coconut taste wasn't that strong.

This was super tasty!! The coconut ice cream had a really mild coconut taste and was not too sweet which was very nice because the apple crumble was quite sweet. I would give this dessert a 5 out of 5 if it wasn’t for the extra $1.50 we had to pay for the vegan option :(
