Afterglow Kimchi Avo Rolls

Holy backlog… I’ve only just touched on this meal from @dafnelately’s birthday last year 😅 Kicking off dinner was this elegantly presented #sushiroll 🤩 I’ll say it was simply very #kimchi dominant. There was mention of almonds but I couldn’t quite detect it in flavour… or even texture.🤔 #avocado also being a mild flavour here couldn’t quite be found by my palate other than the much appreciated creaminess 😋 The rice and seaweed were soft and kushy to the bite. So, overall… it was a nice way to start our meal ☺️ $15 for a #sushi roll ain’t bad at all for a fancy schamncy joint like @afterglow 🤓 It seems to be one of their signatures so i think they want y’all to try it 😉

Super healthy and tasty whole foods & plant based maki roll. Has some spice but not too hot.

Absolutely love this kimchi avocado roll. The kimchi was good by itself but the avocado made it better by providing a refreshing sweet taste. The con was the price and the fact that it only had 6 pieces.

Quite yums too.. fresh ingredients making it a lot more enjoyable. Kimchi flavour isn’t overpowering..

Our fav out of everything we ordered at Afterglow. It’s delightful! The almond “rice” adds a great texture, kimchi was great, and it was really a pleasant surprise. Not too spicy but defo didn’t lack in flavor
