was absolutely delighted to find out that this was vegan !!! not sure about the
soup that comes along with it though. the sauce was yummy but the level of spice was unexpectedly mild so it'll be suitable for those with low spice tolerance too!

I was really impressed by this dish! Really love the strong numbing sensation and the
taste of the sauce with the soft tofu 🤩 all this for only $10.50 so I’ll definitely be back if I’m in the area.
Didn’t expect that Chen’s Mapo tofu had a vegan dish! I had both their vegetarian
mapo noodles and rice. I like that it’s spicy and mildly numbing. Would eat again when I have mapo cravings.

This was more 麻 than spicy so i didnt rly like it. Could hv done
w more tofu and some veggies. Not rly worth it at $10.5 but an alright option when eating w non-veg.
The menu lists this as the only vegetarian option but the spicy eggplant rice can also be made vegetarian (shld be vegan too). NB: Actly got this from the branch in Jewel’s food court.

was a really comforting and satiating meal, especially on a
cold rainy day! portion was decent for $10.50 and had just the right amount of spice. there was also a slight numbing sensation similiar to mala.

Really love the concept of mapo tofu and rice, I’m a huge fan of mapo
tofu.
There’s huge potential in the sauce and spices however it was wayyyyyy too salty, it was almost inedible. Couldnt finish the entire bowl because it was really really salty. Was very disappointed :(
the flavour of this dish is 👌🏼👌🏼 not the healthiest for sure with all the
chili oil, but a great vegan option for those who want a lil 🔥 this was about $10, and they give you a discount too if you takeaway!
It was extremely salty.... Did not improve since the previous time I patronised this place.
They give very little soup for the vegetarian option as well
I would have wanted a bit more rice, but overall very flavorful and the soup
was warming!
