For me it was too sweet

Strawberry in the correct form is not consider a “berry” A berry comes from one flower containing one ovary. In the case of strawberries the fruit do not come from the flower but from a plant structure called receptacle that holds the ovaries.
Mexico is a big producer of strawberries and other “berries” the states of Michoacán and Guanajuato the main producers.
