SUPER GOOD!! non veg sister loved it and said she’ll eat it twice a week

if she could:”) which says something because she usually doesn’t like eating the same thing! waiting time was longer than expected (server said 20 mins but it took about 30 mins ish?) top is a nice thick layer of baked mashed sweet potato, with lentils and vegetables filling. a huge portion and very filling so recommended to share! the pairing of the filling and the sweet potato is just 🙌👌 there was a mix of crunchy and soft textures and so much flavor too! RM20

Although I'm not a sweet potato fan, this twisted shepherd pie made from sweet potato

has blew my mind! The peppery taste was just right for me(although might be too spicy for others).

Using sweet potatoes for the crust was definitely a change from traditional shepherds pies, but

the pie itself was kinda bland. It was just mashed lentils with minimal seasoning.

We were so excited to try this but were disappointed. They must make these in

advance and freeze them because the one we were served with ice cold in the middle! So sad. I don’t really think this is similar to shepherds pie at all. The sweet potato is okay but the filling really wasn’t that flavourful. Perhaps some more traditional ingredients like peas, corn, and onions instead of just mushrooms would make this more tasty.
