Chicken Waffle

Featured in this picture are the fried Mac and Cheese balls, their blue plate special

(varies) which was a burger with loaded fries, and the vegan crème de la vegan crème the chick’n and waffles! I have never had more delicious vegan chicken and waffles. I would order this dish every time. Most things on the menu are vegan (everything is vegetarian), but everything on the menu can be made vegan, so just be sure to tell your server that you want it vegan.

The seitan is perfect texture and nice and crispy. The waffle is fantastic and tastes

nostalgic for me. The gravy was yummy but we didn’t need it on this dish so we didn’t add it on top. If I had some mashed potatoes it would have been perfect for that. This was a perfect meal for brunch. Love this diner! So cute and retro. The menu is massive and can all be made vegan

Chik’n and waffles were so delicious!! I had with syrup but you can also have

gravy. I used both and they were both so good. Great spin on a fun classic. #veganuary

Available on the all day breakfast menu, definitely my favourite item on the menu here.

Recommend trying it with maple syrup instead of the gravy option because the sweet mixes well with the savoury waffle & soy chicken

Not a fan, to be honest. The chick’n was too dense and not well seasoned.

And it was all covered in powdered sugar. I wanted to try something typically weird from the US, but I regretted it in the end.
