Queue was crazy long today because it's first day of the chinese lunar calendar and
all the chinese people emerge to consume vegetarian food. 🐱 We queued for a good 30 mins at least. But for only $4 you can get nasi lemak! They are very generous with the portion, especially the peanuts. I love peanuts 🥜🥜🥜

then dinner goes in my silicon #takeout box 🥡 This #nasilemak was a little unusual with #enoki mushrooms to boot 🍄 but upon tasting it I realised they were probably to stand in place of the regular #anchovies one would usually have 🐟 Speaking of #fish though they had some very fluffily battered #veganfish sitting atop the #coconutrice along with some #veganspam 🐷 Typical lah nasi lemak da bisina.. How haram! 😝 The #sambal was sending me Perlis vibes with how annoyingly sweet it was; The incorrect way to make sambal by the way but this nasi lemak was already miss mr. worldwide from the get go 💅 Would I get it again? For S$4, heck yea! Though my Malaysian friends absolutely are right, you can’t get an authentic nasi lemak in Singapore 😜

lemak comes with a variety of mock meats. I love the battered and fried enoki mushrooms. come early to avoid the snaking long queue
