HK-style claypot rice w charred crispy goodness at the bottom 🍘 Includes one roasted chestnut,

soy meats, broccoli & carrot slices + soup.

Gonna ask for less rice next time haha the carb coma is real 🙈

Yum & super generous in terms of ingredients (tasty assortment of textured soy protein incl.

‘salted fish’, ‘pork’/‘chicken’ & sausages) + carrots + chestnut + broccoli) as usual :’) #claypot #rice

Prolly not the best person to review this dish or any dish of that namesake.

Be prepared to dig your molar grooves out. Great tasting nonetheless save for the bits of pokey 🍚 with supportin casts in the form of 🌰, sausages and mushrooms.

Hubby said this claypot rice is so-so only, but I reminded him that's it's take

away. If dine in I'm sure the taste would be much better, hopefully. Finally my 90th post for the challenge, phew. 90/90

I love the texture of the sausage. The slightly burnt rice at the bottom is

nicely crisped. They also serve this with a soup. #crfsg

When I first visited this place, I told myself I NEED to try this someday.

The claypot rice was so fragrant, lightly salted (2nd pic for addition of dark sauce), and hearty with an addition of chestnut. This is certainly the dish to go if the claypot yee mee isn’t filling enough.

I really like the crispy rice on the sides, “sausages” that tasted like lapchiong, and the strong “wok hei” resembled that of a great claypot rice. While eating this dish, I really thought I was transported back in time eating along roadsides and back alleys of olden days Singapore (not kidding!!😂).

The sweet herbal soup and corn cob complemented this dish in clearing the oiliness associated with claypot dishes, though I wish the corn was boiled a tad longer :’)

Their claypot rice is now vegan! :D Lovee how generous they are with the sausage,

yam cubes, soy ‘chicken’ & seaweed-wrapped ‘fish’ 😋 Really like the tasty soup as wel, which comes with a subtle hint of Chinese herbs!

Fragrant and had smokey burnt bits! Served with mock sausage (resembled hotdogs rather than lupcheong),

mock meat, mock salted fish, roasted chestnuts, broccoli, and carrot. Would have liked a slightly higher ratio of ingredients to rice! ($5.80)
