I wanted to be nice & let her try more plant-based food but we became friends after & she never stopped clinging onto me. #spinachfriends P.S. it’s crazy how she’s already so conscious about her plastic & resource wastage despite her age. (Perhaps her mom’s zero waste store influence!)
When ordering the #spinachfatayer we had to make doubly sure that the dough was #vegan
. We had a recent experience where we assumed that the fatayer was vegan but it wasn't. The waiter assured that this was indeed vegan.
The pastry itself had a punch of flavors and I loved the nutty filling.

very friendly staff Ash at Urban bites assured us that this was.so we went ahead n ordered.N omg.what a great tasting dish.
Was baked well. N the spinach filling was rich n creamy.my new favorite.

🥖🤷🏻♀️ Tried this and the pastry is really soft! Dip it with the housemade toum and youre set. Pine nuts and spinach were nice, could've been a teeeeny bit more filling inside.
I love these pastries! They’re freshly baked and stuffed with minced spinach, onions and garlic.
A real treat and one of the more unique vegan options here.

but just with spinach instead of potatoes. Wish there was more filling though!
The filling is yummy and tastes a little like Chinese pickled vegetables (梅菜). Overall the
skin is not too thick, but the filling can be more.
This was very addictive. It was simple yet had a interesting buttery flavour. Would order
again. Nice dipped with hummus but perfectly enjoyable plain.
Was nice to have this dish with spinach inside but it didn’t taste particularly impressionable
or unique.
