I didn't really like this dish because it was too oily for my liking.
Personally i dislike fried brinjal as they tend to soak up a lot of oil. That aside, the brinjal was very soft and covered with a sweet umami soy sauce. The anchovies on top were actually fried mushrooms which was crunchy and fun to eat~๐ but hey if you do not mind brinjal being cooked this way, you might just fall in love with this dish!
