My whole life I’d never heard of #sugarcane flower!! What a mysterious ingredient of these

origins… to result in the tofu-egg-esque incarnation that sat before me 😮

As per @dafnelately ‘s many #recommendations , we ordered this and in the #curry version 🤓 It doesn’t egg-xactly mimic a scramble. Maybe a tofu scramble but a firm one. It wasn’t very #spicy but surprisingly sweet 😗 It was still salty enough but overall the flavours are quite weak 🤔 or should I say subtle? Something about it just retains a slight sense of eggyness 😙 I think I could’ve done with more aromatics for a curry, #vegan or otherwise. The winner for me was mainly the texture and moistness ✊

Just glad this #naturallyvegan option is present at an understanding RM 12 😌

Here’s a dish I’m very excited to share from home, sugarcane flower 🌸 You get

a couple of options for how to have it cooked - this is the curry version where it’s dry fried in turmeric and curry powder 🌶 You have to opt-out of the egg here #veganized but it’s otherwise vegan-friendly 🌱 I’ve never had sugarcane flower this fine before so it was unique. Reminds me of another dish made fully of dried fish bones 😅 In texture, at least. It also sort of resembles an omelette, doesn’t it? I don’t think it would be particularly off-putting for anyone so I’d definitely recommend giving it a try. It tasted great!

Would have preferred it to be more chunky though
