I felt like something lighter for breakfast, so this really hit the spot. It's made

of braised #mushrooms and #kale in a savoury garlic broth. served with a slice of toasted sourdough. I added a poached 'egg' to try. I must say I wasn't a huge fan of the poachie, but at least I know now (gotta try everything once right).

It was a bit on the pricey side, with the hot pot on its own at $18, plus $6 for the poached egg. But nothing can escape #inflation, not even #crueltyfree food I guess.

I enjoyed this dish but will probably try something different next time.

It was nice and quiet at the Green Edge on a Friday morning. I think I'll make this a regular routine, I even got a bit of work done while I was there. And of course I stopped by and stocked up on some vegan goodies in the grocery store while I was there ❤️
