I prefer what they call a "dirty" biryani, which is the masala part and the
rice part mixed together rather than layered, but this was tasty and had a good mix of beans, green beans, carrots, potato and whole spices (see some of the bay leaves, cinnamon sticks, star anise and cardamom (elachi) in last pic). The accompanying #dhal was thick, textured and flavourful. #corianderlover
