I’ve loved every dish I’ve tried here, but I’ll admit I was not the biggest

fan of this dish. The grits and the jus on top tasted good, but there were three different instances where I had to spit out what I was eating because I could not break down the faux pork. It reminded me of pre-vegan days when you get a piece of meat fat that will not break down no matter how hard your teeth try. Not great memories. 😣 I’m not sure what their pork is made of, as the menu only says ‘house made pork’. This dish gives the choice of either their house made pork or a vegan Andouille sausage, so if I ever order this again, I will be going for the sausage! Also included in this dish are collard greens, green onions, and hatch chiles.
