This was a scrumptious meal to celebrate St Patty’s! ☘️ Or, to enjoy on any

day for that matter. South x Northwest’s blonde meatloaf is house-made and actually has veggies in it. The blonde gravy poured over it has great flavor and a perfect consistency. You can choose three sides that come with your meatloaf, and there is a generous amount of side choices. I chose crisp asparagus, mashed potatoes, and creamed corn! I have not enjoyed creamed corn for over a decade since I’ve been vegan. Theirs was incredible! It almost felt like a dessert. 😋 Run here if you find yourself in Portland 🏃🏽‍♂️ 🏃‍♀️

This consisted of hearty and savory 5 oz 🌱-based meatloaf with rich and creamy dirty

blonde gravy. The fantastic animal-free meatloaf was authentic tasting, comforting, and way better than any I had in my pre-vegan days. Served with their irresistible hushpuppies 🤫 🐶, fresh and sweet creamed corn, and scrumptious, tender melt-in-your-mouth green beans. #saveveganrestaurants

Since moving to Portland, I have been able to live out my best vegan life.

SXNW has been one of my favorite restaurants. Their gravy is EVERYTHING!!! The meatloaf is spectacular. The creamed corn is delicious. The mashed potatoes are creamy and I honestly do not know how they make the food they make. It warms my soul! I did not love the collard greens but I never liked them much before going vegan. I usually get the fried Brussels sprouts and they are divine. I’ll be going back to those next time.
