I was so excited to get a flat white at Sorcery while briefly in Pretoria.
Very disappointing, but I think I know why. They only had almond milk as an alternative and I’m pretty sure they used the Almond Breeze Barista Blend. I may or may not despise the taste of the Barista Blend 🤪 and since the flat white is about 2/3 almond milk, that Barista Blend really overpowers everything.
I would only recommend this if you actually enjoy the Barista Blend.
Would love to see other options like oat milk on their menu as well though.
Although their vegan flat white isn’t great, they’re still a great roastery. I managed to get my hands on three exceptionally roasted coffee beans 🙌🏻
