So one of my usual restaurants has some new options so I tried this one.

Quite a pleasant surprise as this is not that common and I usually only get this when I visit my parents. It's not vegan by default but they have the clear option available to veganise it.

I was very pleasantly surprised

how delicious this was. I expected a boring lentil dish but it was full of flavour.

I'd prefer fluffy white rice with something like this but the basmati was good.
