and of course we had to request a Marinara at a regular restaurant. They looked at us so weirdly when we said no cheese or anchovies lol anyway, she requested extra garlic but this one was completely absent in the end. A nice pizza, with really good crust, but could have been better.
had to look for a restaurant that would make #pizza for lunch, since in Italy it’s more common to have it for dinner and often restaurants only make pizza in the evening. we found this place open and I asked for a #marinara, and you could tell that they never make this pizza: it did not appear in the menu, and moreover I asked to put a lot of garlic and they didn’t put any, so it was literally just tomato sauce on dough… the pizza was still good and we enjoyed it, but it would have been 100x times better with garlic 🧄🧛
