Deep Fried Abalone Mushroom with Special Pumpkin Sauce

This was just DELICIOUS!!!! Their pumpkin sauce is so delicious and you can't go wrong

with fried mushrooms! Especially with fragrant curry leaves, yum! Be sure to let them know you're vegan, dishes with vegan options aren't vegan but can be veganized. #comfortfood

The Pumpkin Butter Sauce Mushroom cost $15. The dish consisted of deep fried abalone mushrooms

drenched in a savoury golden sauce reminiscent of salted egg yolk.

My favourite dish at New Fut Kai! Wow! It tasted almost like salted egg sauce

which I believed they were trying to emulate, but lighter and not so "gelat" i.e. sickening. Non-veg*ns, I guarantee you won't miss the meat or egg!! So good!! #crf

I’m generally impartial to pumpkin sauce but this was so good. I double dipped my

food so many times!
The mushrooms were also fried to the perfection, crunchy on the outside but soft and juicy inside.

The pumpkin sauce is unique and tasty. Mushroom were super crispy. Delish :)
