A great substitute for chicken rice. The soy doesn’t really have the chicken flavour and

it’s crispy. The texture is quite nice and interesting. The rice has a very mild flavour. Not the tastiest rice BUT their chilli is quite good! Mixing it all together is quite a satisfying flavour.

I liked the texture of the chicken, however I would’ve preferred a larger portion of

chicken. The rice was fragrant :)


This was really good quality chicken rice! Everything was fragrant, nothing oily, rice was soft

and delicious and the chili sauce was to-die-for! Soooo good! They were very generous with the chili sauce but not so with the soy "chicken" made with fried beancurd skin. I had so much chili left even though I ate it with rice and without the beancurd skin. The soup was also good and didn't have the cheapo feel of those stalls using chicken stock and the oily feel of traditional chicken rice stalls but still fragrant and not too salty! Overall I really enjoyed this and wished there was more of the "chicken"! #crf


The rice is really nice! Pandan flavour gets through, and I dont miss the animal

oil at all. The soup is also nicely savoured! The soya bean curd is a interesting replacement. I've heard comments that bean curd skin has no nutritional value, but if you're not big on that, then this is a nice meal to have. Oh, the chili sauce is good! Local spicy kick!
