Lai cha noodle soup

I really like thunder tea in general and this soup was amazing with a nice

herby taste. The vegetables were only slightly cooked and still crunchy which I liked and the noodles were fresh too.
I could have used more veggies and less noodles but for 6 sgd I wouldn’t complain..

is delicious and nice to have it with noodles and veggies instead of the usual rice.

The lei cha noodle soup cost $6. It was an unconventional but interesting take on

the usual Hakka lei cha thunder tea dishes! Instead of rice topped with green beans, nuts, and tofu, this version came with springy noodles alongside sweet peas, baby corn, broccoli, shimeji mushrooms, and vegetarian fishcake. The soup was minty, savoury, and not too bitter despite the vegetal notes.

is an okay leicha dish to satisfy your cravings but not the best!
