Our most favourite family place for idli, dosa, wada in Singapore

Not a big idli fan but this one was super soft, fluffy and good.. loved

the variety of chutneys served on a banana leaf... $1.75 for one idli is quite expensive...

Piping hot, came steaming. Comfort food! Tastes so good with all the 4 chutneys they

provide!! #crf

Soft and fluffy idli! The chutneys and sambar are hot. I love the sambar, ok

with with tomato chutney but the coconut chutney tastes off 😰 it was sourish?? Not sure if that’s because of the way it’s prepared but yeah,, however the main star was 💯 it was the softest idli I’ve had and it’s fresh

My first time eating idli, which tastes like Chinese steamed cake. Portion looks small, but

it was surprisingly quite filling. Their chutneys are like one of the BEST around! Idli is $1.75/pc before gst and service

I don’t know if it was a wrong batch or what but the idli was

pretty sad. Lumpy and not soft. The chutneys were amazing but sambhar was more like dal. Went here after a long time but the food was not good but the company was great.

Definitely the best idlis around! I don't usually care for idlis because they're never freshly

made and are often too dense or crumbly. These were AMAZEBALLS - so soft, and made with REALLY fermented batter! Bonus points for the banana leaf and the uber quick service!

What makes Idli at Murugan most unique is their selection of chutneys. Other than the

coconut chutney which I have had in almost all other restaurants, loved how earthy and unusual the others tasted.

These fermented rice pancakes’ texture is a bit like huat kueh (发糕)! Pretty interesting flavour

as well :)
